Camelia
Car monitoring system Camelia uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) for getting the position,
speed and heading of vehicles and the GSM/GPRS telecommunication network for bidirectional communication
between individual cars and the central server of the system Camelia. The data collected in the database
are presented via Camelia web server. Users have access to their data via an internet browser.
Car monitoring system Camelia has these standard functions:
- instantaneous monitoring of position, speed and heading of vehicles
- measurement of the distance traveled
- driver identification by means of an iButton or wireless key ring
- identification of private and business trips
- speed profiles recording
- presentation of current position and vehicles’ status in a table
- presentation of current position and vehicles’ status on the Google Maps
- presentation of archive data about the route traveled on a map on daily basis
- automated trip report generation with an .xls format output
- statistical processing of the trip data – daily, weekly and monthly reports
- user-definition of groups of vehicles and access rights
- optional monitoring and logging of load temperature, fuel status,
occupied/free status (e.g. taxi) and more
- automated fuel purchase reporting
- over-the-air software upgrades
