Control and communication unit for displays for intelligent bus stops

For the LED information display project for intelligent public transport stops, ANDIS has developed a control and communication unit. It enables the communication with the central and displaying of correct information on the display.

Displays themselves serve the purpose of informing the passengers present on the public transport stop about the actual times of arrivals and departures of the vehicles or possible delays, all that based on the real-time information about the location of the vehicles on the routes. The information can be given also to blind passengers. Using the built-in camera it is possible to be monitoring the area around the public transport stop. The display can also serve as a wi-fi hot spot for the passengers.
