AM07-B or Basic is a universal monitoring unit which uses GSM/GPRS networks for its operation. It is designated for monitoring the movement of mobile objects. It also offers the possibility to connect an addon module to identify the driver using an iButton key or a wireless RFID card to discern between private and business trips. The unit also contains a bluetooth module, which purpose in conjunction with the driver´s mobile phone is to secure the vehicle. In case the vehicle moves, but the Basic monitoring unit is not connected to the mobile phone of the vehicle´s owner, the system will send a warning SMS message to this phone. If necessary, the device can be customized according to specific client requirements.
